2024 Banterra Bank/Jim Smith Contracting Irvin Cobb Golf Championships will be held July 20th & 21st.
This event has an amateur division, a professional division, and a junior division (which also compete in the amateur division). It has a rich history with many alumni who have gone on to the PGA Tours. It is an event that is a testing ground for players who want to see how they “stack up” against some good competition.
2024 Champions: PGA Director Danny Mullen; Amateur Champion Jeff Reuter of Humboldt, TN; Junior Champion River Stilley of Benton, IL; and Professional Champion Mason Lenhart of Prospect, KY

2024 Texas Roadhouse/Paducah Bank Tri-State Seniors Golf Championships to be held September 21st & 22nd.
The Texas Roadhouse/Paducah Bank Tri-States Senior Golf Championships are held at Paxton Park each year for male amateur golfers 50 years of age and older. Players compete within their own age groups (i.e. 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over). The event traditionally draws players primarily from Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas and Tennessee.
We would like to thank our flagship sponsors of this event, Texas Roadhouse and Paducah Bank for their support of this premier senior event.
2024 Champion Scotty Parker of Paducah, with PGA Golf Director Danny Mullen.
Scotty won the Overall Amateur title after a weather delay limited the leader groups, which included 4 age groups, to 27 holes. All participants in the other three age groups were able to complete 36 holes.
As a result, age groups A (50-54); B (55-59); C (60-64); and E (70-74) competed based on 27 holes…and age groups D (65-69); F (75-79); and G (80 & Over) competed based on 36 holes.
Age groups will be flighted based on scores below and flight results will be posted later in the week after flights have been determined. We thank all players who participated, and hope they enjoyed the weekend. They certainly inspire those of us that work the event. We salute you!

Baird Wealth Management Tour Players Charity Golf Scramble To Benefit Paxton Park and Junior Golf featuring Russ Cochran and Kenny Perry. This event was held indoors Friday, September 27, 2024.
The Baird Wealth Management Tour Players Charity Event To Benefit Paxton Park and Junior Golf was started in 2002 and has featured PGA and Champions Tour Professionals Russ Cochran, Kenny Perry and John Riegger. This event was started to provide funds to help make necessary capital improvements to Paxton Park and all proceeds go into a special account which is used for that purpose, and beginning in 2007, a portion of the net proceeds also benefit Junior Golf, including local high school golf teams. It is a fun, 4 person scramble event that takes on the atmosphere of a reunion more than a golf tournament.
We are very appreciative of Russ Cochran, Kenny Perry, Freddie Sanders and Mark Page for their efforts each year on behalf of this event. They have busy schedules and the fact they continue to come back and help this facility each year is huge and we deeply appreciate their help. This year, Reed Cochran, PGA Tour Caddy for Eric Cole, was also present for the event.
Special thanks goes out to Baird Wealth Management for their title sponsorship of this event. We would also like to thank the following additional sponsors of this event: Jimmy Brown, Van Bryant, Steve Seltzer, Richard Fairhurst, Home Floor & Kitchens, and Paducah Service Company.
