Paxton Park will be a host facility for the PGA Junior League Program again in 2024. This is a developmental youth growth initiative for BEGINNER AND INTERMEDIATE GOLFERS, IN ADDITION TO EXPERIENCED GOLFERS, to grow the game of golf through the use of a team golf league format. The program has two main goals: (1) bring young golfers into the game in a fast, fun and gratifying way and (2) bring them in on a “team” concept, similar to Little League baseball, with uniforms. This will be done in a series of driving range full swing lessons and practice green short game and putting lessons–in a group format setting. This program will include swing fundamentals as well as etiquette, basic rules, history, safety, equipment, keeping score and getting around the course. This league will start in early June and players interested must be registered by the 2nd week in May. Nick Mills, PGA will be conducting the league on behalf of Paxton Park and The Golf Complex.
