2022 Tournament Information

Paxton Park hosts several large tournaments each year in addition to numerous smaller events such as church, nonprofits or corporate outings. The 2021 dates for our larger events are scheduled below:

2022 James Marine/Bryant Law Center Greater Paducah Amateur 2-Player Team Championships was held June 18 & 19, 2022.

This event is a 2-player, 36 hole scramble format event, with an optional skin game each day and cosest to the pin prizes both days.  The tournament will be flighted after completion of play and prizes will be in golf merchandise script.  The skin game will be paid in cash each day.  Men under 55 will play from the blue tees;  Men 55 and over will play white tees;  Men 65 & over will play red tees.   Ladies will play from the red tees.  Tee times will be assigned on a "first come - first serve" basis from 7 A.M. to 1 P.M.  Players may get their own teams and request their own foursome.  Leader groups will be repaired on Sunday at the end of the line-up.  Otherwise, players will play at the same time both days with the same foursome.

This event is open to any amateur golfer who desires to compete, regardless of his or her residency. This tournament is limited to the first 65 teams.

We would like to thank our title sponsors James Marine and Bryant Law Center, and our event sponsor Pepsi MidAmerica, for their support of this event.  Their support is critical to the success of this event.

Baird Wealth Management Tour Players Charity Golf Scramble To Benefit Paxton Park and Junior Golf featuring Russ Cochran and Kenny Perry.

2021 Baird Tour Players Charity Golf Scramble Entry Form

The Baird Wealth Management Tour Players Charity Event To Benefit Paxton Park and Junior Golf was started in 2002 and has featured PGA and Champions Tour Professionals Russ Cochran, Kenny Perry and John Riegger.  This event was started to provide funds to help make necessary capital improvements to Paxton Park and all proceeds go into a special account which is used for that purpose, and beginning in 2007, a portion of the net proceeds also benefit Junior Golf, including local high school golf teams. It is a fun, 4 person scramble event that takes on the atmosphere of a reunion more than a golf tournament.   THE DATE FOR THE 2022  EVENT HAS NOT BEEN SET YET.

We are very appreciative of Russ Cochran, Kenny Perry, Freddie Sanders and Mark Page for their efforts each year on behalf of this event. They have busy schedules and the fact they continue to come back and help this facility each year is huge and we deeply appreciate their help.

Special thanks goes out to Baird Wealth Management  for their title sponsorship of this event.  We would also like to thank the following additional sponsors of this event:  Banks Market and Cash Saver Grocery, Jimmy Brown (UBS Financial Services),  Fairhurst Realty, Pizza Inn, Home Floor & Kitchens, Paducah Service Company, US Bank, Industrial Maintenance & Gears, Sherri Morril (State Farm), Dominos Pizza, Jeff Holland (Holland/Stivers).
